Maya
Maya’s new life in the UK
We are now happy together and Maya’s health and behaviour have blossomed with a raw diet, natural pet vitality and a stable home environment. Nikki truly has been an angel and I can’t thank her enough. Maya is my therapy dog and Nikki has been the glue that in tough times held us together. Whatever the issue with your dog, I highly recommend going to Nikki for expert help.
When my dog Maya wandered into my life I was living on the side of a mountain in Spain. She was skin and bone and full of worms and close to death’s door. I was in a dire situation myself but convinced my partner at the time to let her stay as I knew she would be difficult to rehome being a ‘dangerous breed’.
Through Nikki’s teaching I straight away put her on a raw diet and watched as she began her transformation. In the first image of her, she had already been with me for a couple of weeks or so and had begun to put on a little weight. I have now had Maya for 7 years making her around 7 and a half years old and during that time, Nikki has been a constant source of advice and support as we have faced many challenges from dealing with the stress of getting her back to the UK through customs to some behavioural challenges – often with regards to problems caused by other people’s dogs and the level of stress I have gone through but nonetheless, she has always provided a balanced, informative sounding board. We had to cope with being homeless to prevent us being separated a number of times and Nikki was always there to help.
